(11:11 a.m. PDT)
I woke up this morning around 10:40 to the sounds of a telephone and doorbell ringing simultaneously. I didn't mind though as I needed to get up anyway. I am the only one in the house awake right now I think...but there are only two people total in the house --myself and Zeppelin. We should be leaving for San Francisco shortly after noon. Autumn gets off work at noon, and her friend Katie will be joining us. We'll be catching "the Bart," a train that runs throughout the bay area. That should be a fun experience. I can only remember one time when I rode on a train --it was a long time ago. Zeppelin says that it should take us a route where I'll get a good view of the Golden Gate Bridge. I'm definitely looking forward to that. We're going to eat in Chinatown, and head to at&t park for the Giants/Cubs game tonight @ 7:15. That should be awesome.
(1:00 a.m. PDT)
We just arrived back from San Francisco. We didn't get to visit Chinatown, but we did attend the Giants/Cubs game at at&t park. That was truly a fun experience. I've now had the opportunity to visit 5 major league baseball parks in my lifetime. We took some great pictures at the park as well as around the city. I bought a Giants gray away jersey. I wanted it only because I love baseball, and it says San Francisco on it. I'm not a Giants fan..I repeat: I'm not a Giants fan. I only bought the shirt because I was in San Francisco... Also, I rode in a train on the way to San Francisco, and a taxi cab on the way back to the train station from the ballpark. It was quite fun. We start our journey back to Texas tomorrow morning at 10:00. We'll be stopping at Fresno Pacific Univ. to help Autumn get settled into her new college life. We're going to try to get to Flagstaff, AZ by tomorrow night, and to West Texas by the second night. Also, we still don't know where we're going to be living. Please pray for that.
Cheers, friends!
